Job Responsibilities:
- Provide maintenance expertise and assistance to the operations group in analyzing and troubleshooting as required. Support maintenance supervisor activities at site as required. Ensure plant reliability is maintained by advising appropriate cost effective maintenance approach in a safe and environment friendly manner.
- Joint responsibility with reliability team in developing preventative and predictive maintenance. Ensure all required engineering/maintenance procedures, tools and techniques are in place for implementation.
- Reduce downtime of plant equipment by improving quality of repair/installation, maintenance method and techniques, carry out down time analysis followed up by RCA, and equipment spare review as needed. Advise maintenance supervisors for implementation.
- With operation team, develop plans and budget for annual maintenance expense, major shutdown and/or turn around, and long term maintenance initiatives. This includes regular cost meeting and tracking as well as new initiatives for cost saving (without compromising quality). Support operation on maintenance program and change management at lowest sustainable cost.
- Take ownership of maintenance business process (JDE system), and ensure it operated as intended. Support plant maintenance management with various information within and outside Cabot organization.
- Effectively practice Performance Based Management by coaching, training and developing employees, direct as well as matrix reports, and assuring effective alignment with the matrix functions. Ensure quality and quantity of staff and contract to be able to work on high standard efficiently.
Requirements:
- University/Technical degree or equivalent preferably in mechanical engineering
- Preferably 5 years of experience in plant manufacturing maintenance with 2 years of supervisory experience.
- Knowledgeable in various concept and method of manufacturing plant maintenance
- Familiar with relevant engineering and material standards and Cabot Global technical references.
- Good problem solving skills, planning and controlling.
- Good people skills/ man management, good interpersonal skill, good communication skill internally and externally.
- Familiar with relevant PTCI and Cabot Corp policies and management system
